Increase Your Good Fortune
All throughout history, humans have sought to better their position and increase their good fortune and increase their luck! There are all sorts of good luck tokens and items to help people accomplish this. Whether it’s a rabbit foot or a four leaf clover the goal is the same. This mentality is no different for people who want to sell their homes, or bring good luck to a home and its occupants. Here we will talk about three ways to increase your luck with your home!
1.Saint Joseph Statue
The patron saint of real estate is Saint Joseph. Many home owners and Realtors have petitioned him for real estate guidance. Saint Joseph originally was a carpenter. You petition the saint by taking a small statue, and plant it upside down in the lawn. While you do this, you ask for aid in selling your home. Once the house sells, you must dig up the statue, and take it with you. You then keep the statue in your new home.
The correlation between the saint and homes goes back to the Middle Ages. The story goes that a group of nuns sought to find a place for a new convent. The nuns buried a medal of the saint on the property and then they were quickly able to negotiate a price for the site. They were able to build a new convent. In Germany, many carpenters place a small statue in the foundation of the homes they build, asking Saint Joseph to watch over and protect the home.
In the United States the custom began to gain traction in the 1980’s. Many realtors would buy tons of plastic Saint Joseph Statues for their clients. Ever since the 80’s sellers have attributed their successful sales to the Saint. The tradition remains popular to Catholic and non-Catholics alike.
Many people say to bury the statue twelve inches in the ground between your for sale sign and the street. You can also bury it close to the foundation of the home. People say if you live in a condominium, you should bury the statue in a pot and keep it on your balcony, or inside your unit. This way it will keep the good fortune in your home, and not attract a buyer for a neighboring unit!
2. Amish Barn Star
In the Amish communities that five point barn star is a common sight. Farmers in these communities would hang these big ornaments on the side of their barns. The purpose was to attract good luck. The stars are normally made from scraps of metal. They are also known as Pennsylvania stars, and they have been bringing good luck to American farming communities for hundreds of years. The stars are hung in warehouses.
Growing numbers of non-Amish homeowners have also embraced the tradition of decorating their homes, garages and outbuildings with these rustic, simple metal stars, which can now be found across the country in both rural and urban settings.
The stars come in a very wide array of colors. Amish tin stars attract good luck for their owners. There are differences between them. Copper is associated the most with abundance in investments, career and your luck. Green means growth and black stars are the common choice among homeowners and farmers. It is not an uncommon thing to see home owners hang more than one star outside their residence to bring good luck to them and their families.
3. Citrine Stones
Want to gain more wealth? Want to gain more prosperity and longevity? Lastly, who wouldn’t want all of that in your home? If you seek these things, a citrine stone might be what you are looking for. You might want to consider placing a few of these beautiful stones in the corners of your building. They are said to draw in moneny and improve luck in finances.
Citrine stones are small, golden yellow and semi transparent crystals. It is believed to attract good fortune to those around it. Many business owners keep small stones in their vaults to improve the money flow. Some people choose to keep the stone in their wallet or purse.
The citrine stone is a form of quartz. Partially because of its golden yellow color. The energy works to diffuse negative thoughts, feelings and other energies. It even works through feelings that could block attraction of luck and other success.
If you work from home, it is not uncommon for businessmen that work from home to have a small bowl of citrine crystals placed near their computer or inside their office. People who often drive for their business place the stones in their car to bring them luck while they are on the road.
